Top Brew's Citric Acid is a high-purity, food-grade acidifier widely used in brewing, winemaking, and cleaning applications. Naturally occurring in fruits such as lemons and oranges, citric acid plays an important role in controlling acidity, balancing flavour, and enhancing freshness in beverages.
In brewing, it can be used to slightly lower pH and add a touch of tartness, particularly in Belgian-style witbiers, sour ales, and low-alcohol beers where natural fermentation may not provide sufficient acidity. It is also an effective cleaning agent for removing beer stone and mineral deposits from brewing equipment.
