Coconut Shell Activated Carbon – 5kg

Our Coconut Shell Activated Carbon (1–2 mm, Food Grade) is a premium filtration media made from natural coconut shells, specifically designed for purifying homemade spirits. With its fine 1–2 mm granule size and enormous surface area, it efficiently removes impurities, fusel oils, and off-flavours — leaving your spirits cleaner, smoother, and more refined.

Recommended Use:

1. Fill carbon into your filter housing.

2. Saturate and rinse with clean water before use.

3. Dilute your spirit to 40% ABV.

4. Pour the spirit into the top of the filter housing and allow it to flow slowly through the carbon for maximum effectiveness.

A 5kg pack can filter a lot of spirit when used correctly.

Compatible with Z-Filters, Fuselex Ultimate Spirit Filters, and stainless filter extension tubes, this carbon is ideal for both beginners and experienced home distillers.
