This higher-kilned malt delivers a beautiful range of deep golden to copper hues, perfect for adding both colour and flavour complexity to your beer. With warm notes of toasted bread, toffee, and nut, it contributes a rich malt backbone that enhances depth without overwhelming sweetness.

Traditionally used as a base in Vienna lagers, Märzens, Festbiers, and Bocks, this malt also performs well in ales where a smooth, toasted flavour profile is desired. Even in pale lagers or ales, small additions provide extra body, flavour, and complexity.
