Unlike screw-top alternatives that often leak or lose carbonation, our spring-wired lid system securely seals in pressure (up to 40psi) while also acting as a built-in safety valve. If pressure builds up too much (e.g. from fermentation), the lid will automatically vent and reseal to prevent damage.
